DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nPablo Picassos Antwort auf die Frage eines deutschen Soldaten\, ob er Guernica gemalt hätte: „SIE haben dieses Bild gemalt\, nicht ich!“ – Picassos Aussage: Erst durch die Gräueltaten der deutschen Soldaten im Zweiten Weltkrieg konnte es zu diesem Kunstwerk und späteren Ikone der politischen Kunst kommen! \nAn diese Vorstellung – nämlich dass Kunst politisch und eine kulturelle Waffe gegen Missstände sein kann – knüpft Matyas Varga mit seinem neuesten Werk Cherchez La Linke Hand an. Sein Sujet: Pädophilie. Vorlage für den Künstler ist die Gesellschaft selbst… \nEin Schelm\, wer Böses denkt\, dieses Werk just zur bevorstehenden Weihnachtszeit zu zeigen. \nDes Weiteren werden zeitgenössische Landschaftsbilder – auf Aluminium gemalt und in der Maltechnik stark durch Gerhard Richter inspiriert – sowie Bronzefiguren aus den jüngsten Schaffensprozessen Vargas ausgestellt. \nMatyas Varga bei Kunstwerkberlin\n\nenglish \n\n\n\n#8_by_MATYAS VARGA \nOnce Pablo Picasso was asked by a german soldier if he was the one\, who painted “Guernica“. His answer: “YOU painted this picture\, not me!”\nWhat Picasso wanted to say is\, that the existance of this work of art as a political icon was originated only through the atrocities of the germans during the Second World War! \nVarga\, similar to Pablo Picasso\, wants his new artwork Cherchez La Left Hand to be interpreted in this way: art can be political and an effective weapon against nuisance. The topic? Pedophilia.
