SUMMARY:p.u.r.e. para-site in der Ausstellung CORRIDOR von David Dunne
DESCRIPTION:p.u.r.e. para-site \nVier Künstlerinnen nisten sich für mehrere Stunden parasitär in David Dunnes Corridor ein. Aber die Installation selbst ist auch ein Pararaum\, der unsere Wahrnehmung bereits kolonisiert hat. In einer Reihe gegenseitiger Intoxikationen nehmen wir irreversible Transformationsprozesse billigend im Kauf. Ein para-site-spezifisches Echtzeitexperiment. \nKonzept und Performance: p.u.r.e.\n(Jagna Anderson\, María Ferrara\, Dodi Helschinger\, Susanne Soldan) \np.u.r.e. ist ein Berliner Kollektiv von walking artists\, das seit 2015 die vielfältige Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Stadt erforscht. In verschiedenen\, meist partizipativen Formaten stellen wir unsere Selbst(in)kompetenz und Handlungs(un)fähigkeit im urbanisierten Raum auf die Probe. Geleitet von den Fragen: „Wie werden wir durch die Stadt geformt?“ und „Wie formen wir die Stadt?“ verweilen wir im Unterbrechungsmodus und entwickeln eine minimalistische Ästhetik der urbanen Performance als zugleich poetische wie politische Intervention. \np.u.r.e. para-site \nFour artists will parisitically implant themselves for several hours in David Dunne’s Corridor. But the installation is a para-site itself\, which has already colonized our perceptions. In a series of mutual intoxications we accept the possibility of irreversible transformation processes. A para-site-specific real-time experiment. \nConcept & performance: p.u.r.e.\n(Jagna Anderson\, María Ferrara\, Dodi Helschinger\, Susanne Soldan) \np.u.r.e is a Berlin-based collective of walking artists\, exploring since 2015 the multifold relationships between human beings and the city. In diverse mostly participatory formats we question our self-(in)-competence and (dis)ability to act in urbanized space. Led by the questions “How does the city shape us?” and “How do we shape the city?” we stay in the break mode and keep developing minimalistic aesthetics of urban performance as poetical and political intervention. \n
